Macmillan Cancer Support www.macmillan.org.uk

Right now, more than 3 million people are living with cancer in the UK. By 2030 this figure will rise to 4 million.

We are supporting Macmillan in their mission, which is to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, by providing physical, financial and emotional support. Macmillan’s goal is to do whatever it takes, no matter what a person's needs are, to listen and support them however they need us to — big or small.

The Role:

Working very closely with the Paid Social Account Director; you will be expected to lead the client communication and support the team in expanding the Paid Social footprint. Strong Paid Social experience across all major channels is essential to this role.

  • Responding to briefs using a wide range of tools and platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok…
  • Management of daily tasks to junior team members
  • Regularly audit accounts to improve performance
  • Support the AD on client meetings as needed
  • Create media plans and provide spend forecast
  • Creation of documents to showcase performance and provide in-depth analysis of results
  • Ensure all media is booked and reconciled on time according to the financial process

Qualifications

  • Experience in Paid Social, ideally from an agency side background (preferred)
  • Active, hands on experience activating and planning Paid Social activity with a DR focus
  • All academic backgrounds will be considered
  • Professional digital media/advertising qualifications will be of an advantage
  • Any digital media experience e.g. freelance, personal projects etc. will also be of interest
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office solutions – particularly Excel
  • Analytical thinking, mathematical skills, and attention to detail
