Salary: £43,266 – £46,525 plus SEN allowance (£2,539 – £5,009)

Our Behaviour Support Service are looking for a qualified teacher to join them and help play a key role in shaping secondary schools’ approaches to behaviour management and the creation of a positive learning environment.
As a Behaviour Support Teacher, you will practice your teaching knowledge, skills, and experience to assist colleagues in developing effective strategies for successfully including pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs in their classrooms. Your responsibilities will include supporting the inclusion of pupils by providing expert advice, support and training on teaching methods and intervention strategies.
You will also work with our new secondary behaviour support mentors who will support individual pupils with recognised social emotional wellbeing and mental health needs.
We are seeking a qualified teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience. The ability to produce high quality reports will be crucial. Excellent interpersonal skills alongside previous experience of working in secondary schools and leading a team with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with teachers and school staff, Children’s Services colleagues and other stakeholders will be essential.
