Become an Organic Social Media Manager

Our brand is continually moving in the quick space that is retail, we need a vibrant and dynamic social Jedi to join our team and take social to the next level.

This exciting role (reporting into the Head of Brand Marketing) will be integral to cutting through the noise and curating content that is “thumb stoppingly” good. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to be bold in their ideas, colour outside the lines and bring a fresh new perspective to driving brand fame. Your Mission

  • Develop and deliver the organic social media strategy focused on driving brand fame and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the Brand Campaign team to build and develop the content strategy, which will be key in bringing the evolution of our brand to life.
  • Create weekly/monthly social content plans, based on audience insights, key campaigns, range and product launches plus cultural opportunities.
  • Oversee the management of all social channels driving continuous growth, reach and engagement to achieve forecasted KPI’s (with focus on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook).
  • Work closely with the wider brand team to ensure all social media activity is aligned with brand campaigns and trading objectives.
  • Working closely with the Digital Marketing team to ensure consistency and efficiencies across organic and paid platforms.
  • Develop and manage an influencer and brand ambassador marketing strategy to drive branch reach and engage new communities.
  • Manage social media budget, ensuring budget is spent effectively, working closely with the Paid Social team to boost best performing content.
  • Build strong relationships with our agency partners and in house creative time to create rich and engaging content for social media channels.
  • Working closely with our Buying team to identify opportunities in the trading calendar for supplier and collab opportunities.
  • Work closely with our retail colleagues to develop local social media initiatives that really tap into our community network.
  • Lead on analytics, insights and reporting, setting KPIs and sharing performance back to the team and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively carry out regular competitor analysis.
  • Share social trends and collaborate on opportunities to react to relevant topical events and trends.
  • Develop and lead a high performing team.

    Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart

    • Proven experience of developing and implementing an organic social media & influencer strategy with a track record of growing social channels and driving brand engagement.
    • Deep understanding of social media platforms (especially Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Pinterest)
    • Creative flair, with the ability to deliver a full social media campaign from concept to creation to evaluation.
    • Excellent stakeholder management, strong communication skills and capable of building and maintain strong relationships.
    • Passionate about social media and keeping up to date with the latest digital trends.
    • Self-motivated with strong organisation and planning skills.
    • Happy to work flexibly and with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Analytic mindset with proficiency in measuring and analysing the effectiveness of content and campaigns across platforms.
    • Previous experience with line management
    • A retail background is desirable but not essential.
