Finance – Shaping Wiltshire’s Future
The Insurance Team deals with all aspects of insurance matters for the council, tendering for insurance cover and enable appropriate insurance cover is in place including schools, public liability, property and motor.
As an Insurance Officer, you will create and maintain the Council’s insurance policies and support the identification and analysis of risks throughout the county. You will handle claims and liability assessments and conduct tender process and renewals. For claims not handled in-house, you will liaise with our insurer, solicitors and legal advisors to present cases in appropriate courts.
We are looking for a candidate with a Level 3 insurance qualification and good knowledge of different law and legal practices as applicable to liability. If you have exceptional communication skills, proven ability to cope with conflicting and demanding situations and thrive when under pressure, experience of either running a tender process or of dealing with liability claims will be an advantage, then don’t miss your chance to be a part of our forward-thinking team.
