HR&OD – Shaping our Vision and Workforce
We are seeking a dynamic Systems Development Support Officer to join our HR&OD Continuous Improvement team.
Our HR and Organisational Development Service is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that align with the council’s vision, values, and business plan priorities.
In this key role, you will provide comprehensive support across a variety of HR&OD functions. You will be responsible for reviewing, developing and consulting on changes to ORACLE configurations processes and guidance. You will collaborate closely with the Systems Development Manager and Improvement Lead to gather requirements from Specialist HR&OD teams, contributing to strategic improvement roadmap for all processes.
To succeed in this role, you need an NVQ level 4, preferably in a Human Resources-related field or equivalent experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills alongside the ability to build and maintain key working relationships and to collaborate across teams and service areas will be essential. Our ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent report writing skills and a keen eye for accuracy and detail. A willingness to pursue further relevant professional qualifications, such as CIPD Level 5, to support career advancement within HR & OD is highly desirable.
