You will join the organisation as we embark on executing the charities next 5-year strategic plan, this offers a unique opportunity to own, shape and deliver a new People & Culture strategy from the outset.

As a key member of the executive team, you will lead and inspire others, fostering a culture of excellence and building a legacy of positive impact. You will be at the forefront of the development and implementation of innovative and impactful strategies to drive meaningful change.

Your Role

We are seeking a visionary Chief People Officer to lead and deliver our people strategy. You will work closely with the executive team and board of trustees to align our people initiatives with the charity’s strategic objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering an engaging an empowering workplace culture.

With the support of a directorate of c.60+ FTE colleagues with a diverse remit including but not exclusive to HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, ED&I , HR Shared Services, Reward, Learning & Development you will oversee and drive new and ongoing People & Culture initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategy and goals.

About You

  • Evidence of developing and implementing highly effective people strategies
  • Evidence of leading strategic organisational redesign programmes
  • In depth knowledge of managing people related change
  • Chartered membership of the Institute of Personnel and Development (Desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge and experience of leading a people function within a highly regulated environment.
