Want to make a positive impact on people’s lives by working for the world’s largest and oldest youth charity? YMCA is currently recruiting a Brand & Design Officer.
Do you believe in fairness and equal opportunity? As a Brand & Design Officer, you will use your creativity and technical expertise to help raise awareness of YMCA’s impact in the lives of hundreds of thousands of young people in almost 700 communities across England and Wales.
Producing appealing artwork for a range of campaigns, events and fundraising activities, you will play an active role in growing support for YMCA’s services which provide supported housing, childcare, mental health support and counselling, youth work, and many of the essential building blocks that we all need for a full and rewarding life.
Working with the Brand & Design Manager, you can expect to play a key role in ensuring YMCA’s national brand guidelines are applied to the highest visual standard, as well as being encouraged to explore exciting creative approaches to develop varied branded content for more than 80 YMCAs to promote on multiple digital and print platforms.

Some key areas will include:
- Creating and adapting existing artwork using design software packages
- Liaising with external agencies and print suppliers
- Organising photoshoots and administering digital content
- Reviewing and inspecting outputs for brand compliance
