What you’ll be doing
Reporting to one of our Senior Marketing Managers you’ll lead the global marketing activity for one of our core areas, Science, helping us to reach more people in more places, growing our sales. You’ll be working collaboratively with key colleagues in product, sales and marketing and will identifying opportunity, delivering creative multi-channel campaigns to support our ambitious growth strategy. You’ll be responsible for marketing a range of products, Professional Development and digital solutions.
You’ll:
- Plan, create and execute all global marketing activities across relevant channels to drive direct revenue and sales leads of all products, solutions and services
- Deliver regular analysis and reporting on KPIs (such as ROI, number of leads, direct sales etc) and effectiveness of marketing channels to help refine future campaigns
- Develop core understanding of market need & challenges to generate market centric customer value propositions and messaging for direct activity and sales enablement/support
- Develop personas/segmentation strategies to refine messaging and activity, leveraging data /market research/competitor insights
- Establish and maintain productive collaboration across product and sales colleagues to deliver success
- Co-ordinate the design, production and distribution of marketing, in print and digital formats with internal teams and suppliers, negotiating on price and service levels
- Contribute to new product, solutions and services proposals helping to shape the proposition and pitch
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for a creative, results-driven team player, with demonstrable experience of creating customer-focused propositions and creative campaigns that deliver results. We need someone who is brave enough to take risks, trialling and testing new approaches whilst being able to analyse success and learn from the things that didn’t work so well.
We’d like you to be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of marketing digital services and solutions, with impact, across digital and traditional channels
- The ability to juggle numerous projects
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to contribute to cross-functional teams, sharing informed opinions and insights to support and challenge colleagues
- Data literacy
- Ability to support business objectives with marketing tactics
- A focus on customers and business objectives, combining both elements into everything you do
- Understanding of the customer journey and stages within that where you can add improvement for impact from interest to purchase to renewal / repurchase
- Understanding of the global landscape and the marketing channels, cultural sensitivities and customer needs within key regions and / or education experience would be ideal

Salary:
From £33,000, dependent on experience and location (+bonus +benefits)
